Getting ready to head to daughters, but had to check out your shot..
What a great one..looks tasty to me, don't know why the deer don't enjoy a
bite or two..

Oooh pretty & a cool shadow! I wonder why deer don't eat sage?

I almost posted a 'rosemary shadow' which deer probably don't like either...

Adore both pics! The first one is such a beautiful hue and the second one shows such interesting detail in shadows.

I love Russian sage! It's difficult to grow in my clay soil, but I adore the scent and the sight.

Such a lovely plant.
I'm glad the deer don't like it.
I wonder why not? On Long Island they eat EVERYTHING!!

Come on...just a little ditty...please...Love the Russian sage, it is so dramatic in a garden. My problem isn't deer, it's the plague of locusts, but they don't bother any of the herbs. Love the fern shadow too, how do they do in the high desert???

Haven't seen any ferns here...even in the shade it's dry, dry, dry.

Maybe it's the scent that the deer don't like. Nice shadow shot, I'm glad you posted a picture of the rosemary before the shadow!

I bet that sage smells very nice - love it! I have to tell you - I used the pinecone flowers you sent me as part of my display yesterday - I wish I had a 100 of them! Everyone wanted them. I wouldn't part with them though! Thanks for such a special gift!

I too am glad you posted the actual subject as well as it's Shadow! It gives the mind a lil treat to be able to float from one pic to the next and follow it's trail....
I bet the Sage smells wonderful!

Great shots! I guess deer don't like aromatic plants?

Beautiful shadow shot, the texture in it is really intense. The plant is also really pretty, glad the deer leave it alone. Green & purple together is one of my favorite color combos :)

Fantastic shadow shot :P
4 days off the internet and I've missed so much. We did a mountain hike at Bako..extremely tough terrains, for someone like me who never exercised so I am still aching all over..will hop over again later :D
