Lodge love

I'm still fascinated with the art of Timberline Lodge. The entire lodge and its contents were handmade by over 350 craftsman. Furniture, woven drapes, bedspreads, upholstery, rugs. Wrought iron light fixtures, lamps, door latches & hinges.

Replacement textiles are reproduced on looms in the art cabin.

Local stone was used throughout the lodge, at the entrance, surrounding huge fireplaces, spanning doorways.
Massive timbers provide the framework, wooden walls, floors and ceilings provide rustic warmth.
