Sweetness

I received a package from Rachel of Fog and Thistle last week. She sent me a copy of Watership Down since I've never read it. Tucked inside the package was a vintage bingo card and a vintage postcard....so sweet! Thanks.

I spent yesterday in Portland welcoming my great nephew Kai into the family. Here he is with his grandma, my sister Chantele.

I hope you will love Watership Down. It's one of my favorites. I've read it at least 3 times.

You'd think pregnancy might have cured me of my usual "oooooh baybeeeeee eeeeeee!" reaction, but actually, it's made it worse. That said...

He is a gorgeous baby, Charmaine! And your sister looks so young to be a grandma. I've never read Watership Down, either. But now I feel like I'm going to need to add it to my list of books to read.
