Tag, you're it

Last week Marc tagged me. I borrowed a format from Willow to use though...I like to mix things up.

FURNITURE SHOP ~ I rarely buy anything for the house. I’ve accumulated a houseful of furnishings I adore since I rented my first house when I was 19. Everything Mark & I have, with the exception of the leather loveseat, is antique/second-hand.

SWEET ~ and tart, please. Think rhubarb or key lime....

DRINK ~Water…lots of it.

COFFEE ~ Yes, daily, very strong

CLOTHES SHOP ~ I adore clothes. I would be quite the clotheshorse if I were shorter and thinner. Being tall, broad-shouldered and not model thin makes clothes shopping a chore. Invariably, pants are too short. Due to my broad back and, err…not small cup size, shirt shopping puts me in the XL section, where the selection is dismal, and even then the sleeves are too short.

MUSIC ~ Classical and 80’s music are my favorites. But I also like classic rock, some blues, some jazz, some country….

TV ~ I don’t watch TV

FILM ~ I love movies, but rarely watch any

CITY ~ I like cities is short doses. Preferably with someone else navigating…

Portland from the backseat

Interested in playing along? Feel free to continue the tag. I posted about
My City Secret the other day, and am passing along that tag as well.

That was a fun tag. As you would've guess, nothing is second hand here...unless the husband counts haha..As for the clothing part..I am with you for sure, always have problem buying clothes here, most if not all are too small as the people here are more petite. I love coffee but could not drink..and watch way too much TV unfortunately.

You are a kindred spirit when it comes to home decor!

Oh this was a fun one! We left most of our city-style furnishings behind-they weren't practical for the size of our home or family. Almost everything we have now has been thrifted or gifted and then magically restored by me! (Joe is NOT handy)

One day I'll have all of the pretties I need to be content with it.

Mmmm...strawberry rhubarb pie. Just made an apple cranberry pie this past week, about to make another this week, think that counts in the sweet & tart category no?

i too prefer to have someone else navigate around cities. i'd much rather sit in the backseat and just take everything in. well, most of everything.

Mmmm...key lime pie...I think we came out of the same mold in the clothes dept., so I buy men's clothes (get too dirty for womens) must buy(and sell) furniture all the time, love Sci Fi and classical music...never wanna leave the chateau for the city...ever!

Wow...only the love seat was a new buy, you've done an awesome job decorating! And, no t.v.....I can see why, I think that's one of my addictions. lol
