Pitti Palace

One week ago, I walked across a bridge over the River Arno in Florence, Italy, and down a few cobblestone streets to the Palazzo Pitti, former home of the Medici Family, now a museum featuring the Costume Gallery and the Boboli Gardens. Such splendor!

Breathtaking! Why do I always feel like I'm watching a movie when I see pics of Italy?

Glad that you are back home safe and sound. Are you reliving every moment?
I recognize MARCHI- in Lucca...or maybe Florence~ but have seen it. And the ironwork on one of your windows-I have the same picture, it's gorgeous. Do you have projects lined up for your husband?
How did you like Lucca?
