One week ago, I walked across a bridge over the River Arno in Florence, Italy, and down a few cobblestone streets to the
Palazzo Pitti, former home of the Medici Family, now a museum featuring the
Costume Gallery and the
Boboli Gardens. Such splendor!

I worked at a sweater shop in 1972 right across the road from the Pitti.
