Garden sculpture

I was browsing the Little and Lewis website
for some garden sculpture inspiration...

and came across this piece, a cast Gunnera leaf.
My friend Sue (of bookclub fame) made one years ago for her garden.
Sue...come to the desert. I need one, too!

I need one too - it reminds me of Kaffe Fasset and his wonderful needlework. Looks like a tapestry-

Back here in Ioway, we use rhubarb leaves, which are very similar to those, they are easy to make...if ya have the big ol' leaves...

Trux is lookin' good...now we have to work on his girlfriend Scratchy...weighing in at a hefty 22 pounds...she says it's all muscle...yeah right!

Didn't they have a simple method for doing this in Sunset a few years back? Couldn't one use the leaves of Bear's Breach for a similar effect?
