Last year, I dismantled a non-working, vintage clock with the idea of repurposing all the little pieces into something new.
I sent the gears, along with some of my grandmother's buttons, to be commissioned into a Steampunk necklace (which I adore).
Then, feeling marginally creative, I added a remnant from a vintage appliqued quilt to one of the pieces...framing it...
I made a robot for a creative challenge...
and added a bit of vintage lace and a button
to another piece as a wall hanging.
Clock...this week's Theme Thursday

In keeping with the ticker reference,
it was time to cut off my hair.
Short is good.
I'd been growing it out for 8 months...
who knows why...

Just read all the comments and noticed I mimicked Willow almost word for word, which is actually kind of amazing when you figure there are over 500,000 words in the English language.
