details are vague, but I see textured lattice being formed
and leaves
and flowers being forged...
this is going to be cool!

Nice! I used to date a blacksmith, still have a couple pieces of his handiwork and remember his calico cat that somehow stayed white in the middle of all that black!

It's funny that yesterday I was reading in the New York Times (we get a supplement with the Sunday newspaper here in the UK) how people are going back to real things. and this is a classic example. I'm sure that Mark feels prouder of the result of his hard work than of a product bought in a local shop. Beautiful. Many thanks.

I always loved the sound of the forge when the farrier..or blacksmith would come to do the horses shoes. What a creative guy your husband is...love those flowers and the wood stove is fabulous...decorative on top of being functional!
