Thought I'd give you a little tour of my friend Linda's back yard...
She lives in the Willamette Valley where it's lush and green....
I was lucky enough to be able to stay at her house last weekend while I was in town for the bridal shower. Sitting in her backyard, listening to the waterfall...lovely spot for morning coffee.

Pretty and stylish.
I had a lot of reading to catch up on in your blog...how do you remember to snap photos of everything?!
Oy...you wouldn't believe how often I do not have my camera with me...or I do have it with me and FORGET to use it.
Gotta love a water feature!
I especially love the natural wood chairs!
A peaceful spot.
Love the old shoe!
I would love a backyard like this. I was browsing through the photoshoot pics of your house. Wow! Your house is gorgeous and the surrounding yard is looking great too.
what a charming and relaxing spot.
lucky you for being able to visit and enjoy it.
can i move into the birdhouse?
Your friend's yard is divine. This is a DESERT backyard??? I think your desert is different from our desert. I don't see that much green in anybody's yard, here.
How peaceful and inviting... Pass the lemonade please!
How calming - that little rock pond is so nice1
Linda's yard is in the Willamette Valley...about 3 hours from our place in the desert.
I haven't been able to visit your blog in quite awhile and Boy, have I missed out! Magnificent! From the photo shoot pics that I STILL am having a hard time believing are from the inside of a 'double-wide' (I swear they are in a mansion! hehehe) to the Shadow Shot Sunday pic of the metalwork to your wonderful pics of such a peaceful yard....it's all amazing! You have quite a talent to capture the aura of it all! I feel so thankful to be able to share in all the beauty you find in your part of the world.
Smiles, Lorie
P.S. My fav HAS to be the Shakespeare Quote Wall! Wowzer! Perfect!
Every home should have a place like this; just a peaceful place to be one with your thoughts and your coffee...
what a lovely garden, I love the little houses
:)
Looks enchanting!
Simply beautiful. Morning coffee there must have been a nice treat, Linda is quite an amazing gardner!
I long for a fabulous yard like this!
Her garden is lovely...I would have lingered there long after the coffee was gone...
love that waterfall :)
What a gorgeous spot.
This is so beautiful! I have a neighbor with a "water feature," and I'm jealous till I see all the time she puts in gardening.
Lovely! The little bird houses tucked into the foliage are so sweet!
Oh gosh! I dream of the day we have a yard like this...
Outdoor living spaces are very high on my priority list when it comes to owning a home... You give me inspiration for what's to come.
