Garden tour

Thought I'd give you a little tour of my friend Linda's back yard...
She lives in the Willamette Valley where it's lush and green....

I was lucky enough to be able to stay at her house last weekend while I was in town for the bridal shower. Sitting in her backyard, listening to the waterfall...lovely spot for morning coffee.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!

The birdhouse is adorable, the chairs... I've always wanted chairs like that!

I have a pattern to make them, but I think its over my head by a bit yet :)

Have a great day.

Your friend's yard is divine. This is a DESERT backyard??? I think your desert is different from our desert. I don't see that much green in anybody's yard, here.

Linda's yard is in the Willamette Valley...about 3 hours from our place in the desert.

I haven't been able to visit your blog in quite awhile and Boy, have I missed out! Magnificent! From the photo shoot pics that I STILL am having a hard time believing are from the inside of a 'double-wide' (I swear they are in a mansion! hehehe) to the Shadow Shot Sunday pic of the metalwork to your wonderful pics of such a peaceful yard....it's all amazing! You have quite a talent to capture the aura of it all! I feel so thankful to be able to share in all the beauty you find in your part of the world.
Smiles, Lorie
P.S. My fav HAS to be the Shakespeare Quote Wall! Wowzer! Perfect!

Every home should have a place like this; just a peaceful place to be one with your thoughts and your coffee...

This is so beautiful! I have a neighbor with a "water feature," and I'm jealous till I see all the time she puts in gardening.

Oh gosh! I dream of the day we have a yard like this...

Outdoor living spaces are very high on my priority list when it comes to owning a home... You give me inspiration for what's to come.
