It's a new year

Got your 2009 calendar?

If not, check out some of my fellow bloggers' artistic offerings:

Judi Fitzpatrick

A big thanks to Michelle for sending me one of her limited edition Tree Tea Towels
(I feel so special!)

and to Victoria for blogging about this calendar featuring one of her collage pieces...
this is the one I'll be looking at monthly!

Since I'm not interested in electronic gadgets, I will be also be using this date book I recovered in Cicada Studio's Queen Anne's Lace fabric.

Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of."

I was just thinking the same thing, then I read ol' Bens' quote...too funny.

I also love the calender that Robin Brown put out. All proceeds go to local humane societies and I read somewhere that they had so far made $15,000.00...how cool is that. But the photos are priceless, as Robins' always are...check out her blog at Magnolia Pearl...there's still hope for us old gals yet.

See ya at SSS...

Just went over and checked out your before and after shots. I cannot believe how luxurious and roomy it looks now!

So far no new snow, I consider that a great start to the New Year..This morning, I sat by the patio door, checking out the stars and was treated to a meteor shower..Now that is one way to start a morning..didn't even know there was one going on..

I LOVE that date book! It's the same layout that I love my calendars to have but I've never come across it in book format.

I think I'll definitely get something like that for next year!

(thanks for including my pouches!)

Great selection! Love the recovered date book, and thanks so much Charmaine for including the collage calendar! (I was ridiculously excited to finally get to hang mine up and start using it!)

I've been looking for a perfect agenda. Yesterday, I went through an entire collection at Borders with no success. Why don't they make a hard cover but not heavy purse size planner that shows the whole month, but that also has the weekly pages for writing daily tasks and notes? I don't like to have a separate desk book that I leave at home/work and one I carry around...too many organizatonal steps.

When I worked in an office I was forced to use Outlook calendar as my official keeper of appointments & it drove me nuts! Now that I run my own thing I use my very convenient day planner given to me 3 or 4 years ago by my mother in law. Love it!

Great finds all around, I have my Judi FitzPatrick original hanging up in my living room right now!

These are all lovely. I should splurge and buy myself one of these calendars instead of using the freebie ugly work one I have.
