Oddly, some of my best photographs are taken when I'm in the car, speeding down the highway, camera held up to window. Strange.
Perhaps I'm partial to the view...

I also want to thank Sweetpea Surry for this award:
According to the award rules, I'm suppose to pass this along to 15 (fifteen!) other worthy blogs. Out of sheer laziness, I'm going to suggest a peek at my blog roll in the left side bar. These are my daily reads, the ones listed at the top of each section are the blogs most recently updated.
Have fun and share the blog love!

now that's a pretty picture!
Well, your scenery is something special, so I don't blame you for snapping away. It pays off.
Sometimes I think my truck should have a sign that warns...'crazy, romantic driver at wheel-beware of sudden stops'...know what I mean. Beautiful scene...MORE!!!
Now that's what I call "wide open spaces" - beautiful!
The farm looks as settled and "of the earth" as the mountain. Beautiful!
The scenes are incredible!
I {luv} to have that as a routine 'look-see' on my way to...whereever.
Congrats! on the award.
Love your speeding shots, xv.
Love that mountain in the back!
Wow - great shots! I generally end up with a blurr or a really nice close-up of some speck of dirt on the window! *lol*
Wonderful driving shots! Wow! We have the flat land with not a mountain or hill in sight.
I traveled to OR a few years ago while researching a novel (that I'm still working on -- arrgh!) and thought it was just the most beautiful placed I'd ever seen. Even Old Dog admitted he could imagine living in Portland.
Willow-
There are 13 mountains stretched out to the west. The view is simply jaw-dropping gorgeous in person. I've yet to capture it on film (ummm...digital).
Absolutely gorgeous photos...I seem to have luck shooting from the window too-or at least that's what I tell myself when searching for reasons not to get a license at 35. :)
Truly stunning scenery.
(Hope you're in the passenger seat!)
Congrats on your award!
Ha....I take pictures the same way...
Great pics....love the coloring
I'd think you lived in big sky country by those shots... looks like the days have been golden over there latey, stay warm!
♥
I like your photos, I do the same thing. Congrats on the award.
Funny - some of my best photos from California were taken out the window of a speeding car. These are lovely.
Congrats on the award.

It's easy to understand why you're partial to the view. Just don't drive and shoot, okay? ;-)
I just took a look at the framed mirror - I really like your work!
BIG BLUE SKY! makes me wish for wings to soar across it and dive into the mountian head first with my mouth wide open because it does appear to be vanilla ice cream with blueberry sauce. Very pretty photos! Fresh air and sunshine- AHHHH!
What a fantasic blog you have! Yesterday I just posted on my blog about an outing I wnet on "Desert Dutch Oven Diva's"! Enjoyed my visit with you! ~Maryjane
beautiful photos. i can't seem to get anything but blur when trying to take pictures out of a moving car.
congrats on the award. (yeah...fifteen???)
Awesome views, I take horrible pictures, which is probably why I still need to replace the battery in my camera. :)
Very nice...we need to get out your way!
Beautiful pictures. Many thanks and may the car keep moving :-)!
Greetings from London.
Now these 2 are very nice, I always try to take pictures in a moving car. I shouldn't esp when one hand is on the steering ;p
Congrats on the award, if anyone deserve it..it will be you, more to come I am absolutely sure :D
Nice scenic shots. I like taking photos from a moving bus. That's fun.
Congrats on your award!
Kudos on your award, well deserved indeed!
Gorgeous photos, the mountain view is very majestic. I am the same way. We used to take so many road trips in the winter & no way I was getting out of the warm car just to snap a pic. The comfy seat at 70 mph worked just fine :)
