The speeding photographer

Oddly, some of my best photographs are taken when I'm in the car, speeding down the highway, camera held up to window. Strange.

Perhaps I'm partial to the view...

I also want to thank Sweetpea Surry for this award:

According to the award rules, I'm suppose to pass this along to 15 (fifteen!) other worthy blogs. Out of sheer laziness, I'm going to suggest a peek at my blog roll in the left side bar. These are my daily reads, the ones listed at the top of each section are the blogs most recently updated.

Have fun and share the blog love!

Well, your scenery is something special, so I don't blame you for snapping away. It pays off.

Sometimes I think my truck should have a sign that warns...'crazy, romantic driver at wheel-beware of sudden stops'...know what I mean. Beautiful scene...MORE!!!

Now that's what I call "wide open spaces" - beautiful!

The farm looks as settled and "of the earth" as the mountain. Beautiful!

The scenes are incredible!

I {luv} to have that as a routine 'look-see' on my way to...whereever.

Congrats! on the award.

Wow - great shots! I generally end up with a blurr or a really nice close-up of some speck of dirt on the window! *lol*

Wonderful driving shots! Wow! We have the flat land with not a mountain or hill in sight.

I traveled to OR a few years ago while researching a novel (that I'm still working on -- arrgh!) and thought it was just the most beautiful placed I'd ever seen. Even Old Dog admitted he could imagine living in Portland.

Willow-
There are 13 mountains stretched out to the west. The view is simply jaw-dropping gorgeous in person. I've yet to capture it on film (ummm...digital).

Absolutely gorgeous photos...I seem to have luck shooting from the window too-or at least that's what I tell myself when searching for reasons not to get a license at 35. :)

Funny - some of my best photos from California were taken out the window of a speeding car. These are lovely.

Congrats on the award.

It's easy to understand why you're partial to the view. Just don't drive and shoot, okay? ;-)

I just took a look at the framed mirror - I really like your work!

BIG BLUE SKY! makes me wish for wings to soar across it and dive into the mountian head first with my mouth wide open because it does appear to be vanilla ice cream with blueberry sauce. Very pretty photos! Fresh air and sunshine- AHHHH!

Awesome views, I take horrible pictures, which is probably why I still need to replace the battery in my camera. :)

Kudos on your award, well deserved indeed!

Gorgeous photos, the mountain view is very majestic. I am the same way. We used to take so many road trips in the winter & no way I was getting out of the warm car just to snap a pic. The comfy seat at 70 mph worked just fine :)
