A few weeks ago, I met with a local woodworker to collaborate on a design for the bar counter at the Cove Palisades marina store/cafe. It was one of those happy meetings where design ideas flow back and forth, each of us getting excited as it comes together so easily. This is Nancy's Sketch-Up rendering of the counter, using materials to tie in with the other
selections I've made for the remodel.
Butcher block counter
Corrugated metal detail on front & back
Galvanized pipe foot rest and counter brackets (not shown)
Wood trim (to eliminate sharp metal edges)
The bar counter will be placed in the opening near the window wall to fill the awkward space between the post. It will help divide the area, providing a nice separation between the cafe and part of the store.
Can't wait to see it installed!

Great potential ~ I know it's going to look wonderful!
My word verification is 'subster' so I guess the cafe will have to serve subs???
Love the industrial chic idea of this installation, Charmaine. It will be so interesting to see it all when it's finished. Nice choices, Ms. Talent.
