The Crooked River

same view from a few months ago...

I like the starkness of this dead tree against the rocks...

Oooh! I love coming here and looking at your photos!

Are these mountain rock photos taken by you? What a beautiful dramatic feel they have. In the last one it seems as if the tree is being corralled in!

No view compares to the view of the wild and wooly West...aye! If you've never seen it, you don't know what you've missed...raw beauty, thanks for the view.

gorgeous scenery ! of course in my imagination, there's a lonesome cowboy sitting on his horse on the right of the picture
:-)

Beautiful photos. Are they from your house again? If so, I'll be moving in soon.

Smith Rock is a state park about 10 miles from our house. It boasts the 2nd hardest rock climb in the world.

Yep...photos by me!

I'm sorry, a little, to tell you that you've been tagged to tell "six random things". Come over to my blog and see what tangobaby made me tell. You remember, "Mom, she made me do it".

We had a fair bit of snow a few weeks ago, and then here in NE yesterday, it was about 60 degrees. (Sixty degrees in DEC? wicked strange)

It's getting cold again. In a few weeks I'll be heading to Colorado. I'm sure there'll be about 200 feet of snow there. I look forward to it. C'mon snow ... bring it!!

Really beautiful shadows. Nature does always present the best subjects so far as I'm concerned.

Although I'm sure you're pretty sick of it by now, in photos the snow is really a pretty addition to an already beautiful scene. Lovely shots!
